Privacy notice for the inquiry form
What happens to the information you send through the request page of this website.
What the form collects
- Your name and your email address.
- The offer you picked.
- Your message, and the confirmation you tick that it is nonconfidential.
That is all. There is no file upload and no account. The page also has a hidden field that ordinary people never see or fill in; automated spam programs often do, which helps filter them out.
Please send nonconfidential information only
Do not put sequences, unpublished data, internal program names or IDs, or anything covered by an NDA in the form. If we agree to work together, we agree on information sharing and any use of AI tools, and put confidentiality terms in place, before you send project materials. The form’s warning about pasted sequences is a reminder, not a filter: it cannot tell what is confidential, so please do not type it.
How your message travels
When you press Send, your browser sends the form to Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form service. Formspree forwards it to my email, vibhachauhan@biotecmaven.com, and may also keep a copy in my Formspree account. Formspree’s handling of that data is described in its privacy policy.
How I use it
To read your message, reply to you, decide whether and how I can help, and, if we go ahead, agree scope and a fixed price. I do not sell it and I do not use it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting your inquiry
Your inquiry reaches me by email, and a copy is held in my Formspree account. You can email me at any time to ask that your inquiry be deleted. I can delete it from my email and from my Formspree dashboard.
I do not state a fixed retention period, and I cannot promise that every copy is removed from Formspree’s own systems, including any backups it keeps. What Formspree does with the data it holds is described in its privacy policy.
What this notice does not cover
It covers only the inquiry form. It does not describe the rest of the website (for example, pages load their fonts from Google Fonts) or messages you send me directly by email.
